Explanation of the Holy Trinity

If God is God then how can he be the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost? The Holy Trinity is a key foundation to Christianity, although, this is definitely one of the most confusing concepts of Christianity. I am going to do my best over the next few paragraphs to explain this concept.

Proverbs 6;12-19

12 Walks with a perverse mouth;

A worthless person, a wicked man, He winks with his eyes, Perversity is in his heart, Therefore his calamity shall come suddenly; These six things the Lord hates,are an abomination to Him: A proud look

Proverbs 8:28-36

WIS: When he established the clouds above, when he gave the sea its boundary and when he marked out the foundations of the earth. I was the craftsman at His side. I was filled with delight day after day

Now

The time to make a difference is NOW not tomorrow.  We love to push everything off that could be positive in our life and save it for another day.  Unless it is something that really excites us or is something that we feel is ‘do or die’ it can wait.  Is there anything wrong with doing that?

July Devotionals - Proverbs 1: 1-4

Proverbs 1:4 "Let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance."

Read Proverbs 1:1-7

What it Says:  This proverb covers the need for wisdom and discipline and the warnings against not seeking it.  Read More...

August Devotionals - Matthew 1:18-25

Matthew 1:24 When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife.

We Must Stretch for God

Psalm 139:16 “Your eyes saw my unformed body.  All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.”

God has a purpose for all of us.  Before He even created us, He knew the contributions that we would have on His kingdom.  He constantly tests us and grooms us to become what He wants us to become.

Nothing Too Taboo

Galatians 5:19 The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery;

My question for Christian parents, as well as every Christian mentor out there, is why do we shy away from teaching the tough topics?  The topics of sex, drugs, alcohol, lust, etc.  These issues are considered too taboo to talk about much too often.
